A Precious Life Saved

Dear Faithful in Christ,
We have the opportunity to rescue a precious 14 year old from a life of abuse. May we introduce to you Jhana, who lives in the Philippines and was brought to our Mission House for help.
Jhana is 14 years old , will be in the 9th grade and lives in Buruanga, Aklan Philippines. Her mom took an overseas job as a helper to provide income for the family. While the mother was gone, Jhana was raped by her dad starting at age 8. She was told to tell no one. For the ause it has been treated to prevent damage by termites. six years, she has been abused by her dad, uncle, older brother, and a stepfather. Jhana had lost all hope and was a the point of suicide. She had lost all value in herself and saw no way of escape. Jhana's family has told her she is no longer welcome in the home. She was temporarily taken to another family who promised to provide for her. Jhana and was verbally abused and mistreated.
One of our ministers heard about this situation and the family allowed Jhana to be brought to our mission house in Kalibo. Nemia, who oversees the guesthouse, has agreed to care for Jhana. She will live there and be cared and provided for as a daughter. It breaks our heart that people can be that hateful and refuse to see the value of people. We are grateful to the Lord for bringing her to the mission house where she can be restored and healed.
I'm writing this email because we need sponsors who can help with her living expenses. After talking with Nemia, we have an estimate of $150 monthly to provide her food, personal items, clothing and school expenses. We are presenting this opportunity for your prayerful consideration. We are praying for sponsors who can share monthly to meet this need. We are very willing to have her live at the Mission House to be cared for and restored.
